Starting in May, Cancer Kids First Puerto Rico has organized a summer fundraiser to help Fundación Hospital Pediátrico provide equipment and services for pediatric patients. The fundraiser consisted of selling homemade brownies, cookies, and vitamin juice, as well as handmade Father’s Day and Birthday cards. The items were mainly sold in neighborhoods in Dorado, San Juan, and Toa Alta with the help of volunteers. The volunteers would be given service hours in exchange for fundraising duties, networking, and promotional efforts.
