The beginning of Cancer Kids First in Puerto Rico
The founder of the Cancer Kids Puerto Rico Chapter is Nari Shin, a high school student in the school of TASIS Dorado. Initially starting with a brownie fundraiser in her local hometown, she has organized events to support multiple pediatric non-profits and hospitals in Puerto Rico. As the head of this chapter, she is motivated to help ameliorate the lives of pediatric cancer patients and foster a prolific volunteering atmosphere in her community.
